Join us to celebrate our first year of InSide with an afternoon of photography, conversation and a few drinks.
Over the past year, InSide has brought together photographers and people interested in photography to share work, exchange ideas and build connections. To celebrate, we're getting together for a more informal afternoon, with a chance to catch up with familiar faces and meet some new ones.
We'll start at 3.30pm at Newcastle Contemporary Art (NCA) with a guided group visit to Side's exhibition Under Development: What Happens When Cities Change?. Bringing together more than 50 years of documentary photography from Tyneside and East London, the exhibition explores how urban redevelopment has transformed communities and the places they call home.
After the exhibition, we'll head out for drinks and informal conversation. It's a chance to get to know others from the group, talk photography and celebrate everything we've shared during InSide's first year.
Everyone is welcome, whether you've been coming to InSide regularly, joined us just once or are interested in coming along for the first time. Feel free to invite friends or anyone you think might enjoy being part of the group.
